Lloyd Allan

Lloyd Allan is a senior concept artist based in the Netherlands, currently at NetEase Games. He spent years at Guerrilla Games in Amsterdam, where he helped shape the look of some of PlayStation's biggest titles, including Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West and its Burning Shores expansion, and Killzone: Shadow Fall.
He works mainly in environment design, building the landscapes, ruins, and settlements that a game world is made of, often using 3D as the base for his painted concepts. Outside of studio work he teaches those techniques through tutorials and kitbash sets, and develops a personal sci-fantasy project called Haul, a world that mixes pirates, dinosaurs, and samurai.
