Justus West

Justus West is a Grammy-winning guitarist, producer, and artist from Kansas City. He started playing guitar at eight, and his break came in 2016 when he reached the finals of Guitar Center's "OnStage with Vince Gill" contest, which led him to move to Nashville at eighteen.

Since then he has become one of the most in-demand session and touring guitarists in R&B and hip-hop, with work for Mac Miller, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, and Ty Dolla $ign, among others. He was part of Mac Miller's band for his well-known NPR Tiny Desk Concert, and is a member of the production team 1500 or Nothin'. Alongside the session work he releases his own music and teaches guitar, and is a longtime player of PRS guitars.
