Darek Zabrocki

Darek Zabrocki is a Polish concept artist and art director, and co-founder of Focal Point, the first on-site concept art school in Europe.

He has worked on Hollywood productions including Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and the Assassin's Creed games, designing the environments and characters that big films and game franchises are built on. His other credits include Call of Duty, Death Stranding, and the animated series Love, Death + Robots.

He started out as a traditional painter in Gdańsk before moving to digital work in his late teens, and is known for his environment and world design. Alongside his studio work, Darek teaches at Focal Point, where he has mentored artists from around the world as they move into the entertainment industry.
